You cannot see your photos or videos?
If you're having trouble finding your photos or videos in the Alight Motion app and adding them to your project, we recommend checking the following instructions to make sure all permissions are set correctly.
👉 iPhone/iPad
- Make sure that Demo Mode is off in the App Settings of Alight Motion. Open the app > tap on the side menu > make sure that the toggle for Demo Mode is turned off.
- Confirm that there are compatible files available. They should be in your Photos app or in Files under the Alight Motion folder.
- Verify that Alight Motion has permission to access your content. Go to the Settings app > tap Alight Motion > make sure that Photos is set to All Photos and that the Media & Apple Music toggle is turned on.
- Check that your media files are stored on your device. The app can only access files in the Photos app or the Alight Motion folder within the Files app.
👉 Android
- Make sure that Demo Mode is off in the App Settings of Alight Motion. Open the app > tap on the side menu > make sure that the toggle for Demo Mode is turned off.
- Verify that Alight Motion has permission to access your content. Go to the Settings app > Apps > Manage Apps > Alight Motion > make sure that all permissions to access your media are on. The location of this setting may be slightly different depending on your device.
