Brightness/Contrast controls the brightness and contrast of a layer. |
Brightness/Contrast changes the brightness and contrast of a layer. It's best used with image and video layers. The effect has two parameters: Brightness, and Contrast.
Brightness changes the overall lightness or darkness of a layer. Higher values of Brightness will make the layer approach white, while lower values will make the layer approach black.
Contrast changes the separation of light and dark colors in a layer. Higher values of Contrast emphasize detail. Lower values of Contrast create a flatter look that emphasizes midtones.
