Polar Coordinates transforms the regular square or cartesian coordinate system for a layer into a round or polar coordinate system. |
Polar Coordinates is most commonly used to to create round, or tunnel like objects. It has three parameters, Angle, Crop, and Stretch.
Angle determines the the angle where the left and right sides of the original layer meet.
Crop removes content from the left and the right sides of the original layer, and is useful for trying to remove a seam. The meaning content is stretched angularly to compensate.
Stretch gives the option to stretch the layer to the bounding size of the bounding box of the original, stretching the circular form produced by the effect.
